Bribie Island Community Kindergarten is the only early childhood service in the Moreton Bay Region to be awarded “Excellence”

We have been recognised for excellence in Early Childhood Education & Care in 2013, 2017 and again in 2020. We are one of only a small number of early childhood education and care services to be awarded this rating in 2020.

Our Acknowlegment to the Land

Bribie Island Community Kindergarten acknowledges and pays its respect to the Joondoburri people of the Kabi Kabi nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which our Kindy is placed. We honour them as the first people who lovingly cared for this land where we work and play and we humbly walk beside them to share in and continue on with this tremendous responsibility.
We pay respects to elders past, present and emerging.
Bribie Island Community Kindergarten provides magical childhood experiences that parents
remember from their own childhood.

Our community
generosity & support
We Value Our Community
Commitment to community engagement provides enrichment to the lives of people of all ages and abilities and especially for our children, families, staff, community volunteers and the elderly
We Value Play
Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical strength. Play is important to healthy brain development. It is through play children make sense of the world around them. Play is a simple joy that is a cherished part of childhood.
We value the rights of the child

We Value Nature

We focus on sustainability in a large natural playground containing sensory paths, rainforest mist spray, dry and wet creek bed, mud kitchen, water channels, vegetable gardens and the BIGGEST and accessible back yard where we engage in our Bush, Creek and Beach Play.
