Staff and Committee


Staff are employed by the Committee in accordance with the Kindergarten’s EBA Workplace Agreement.
They consist of a full time Director/Teacher, two part time Assistants, an Additional Needs Assistant and an Administration Officer.
The Director/Teacher is responsible for the implementation of the Educational Programme and the Administrative duties within the Kindergarten.
Teaching staff all hold current first aid certificates and keep up with the latest educational trends by regularly attending professional development courses.


We value your involvement and participation. One way you can participate is through the management committee. Bribie Island Community Kindergarten is a Community owned centre operated by a Parent Committee.
Any profits are put back into the centre.
What is the Management Committee and what is its role in the centre?
The management committee is formed by parents of children currently attending or interested members of the community. There are eight positions on the management committee. The management committee meets once a month.
